所以這到底是用來幹嘛?

話說華人社區雖然好像重視英文而且有不少英文補習班，但是能夠買到英文書的渠道卻比想像中來得少（香港有Page One跟商務等大型書店還好，台灣嘛…好像主要有金石堂跟書林？然後呢？然後就沒有然後了～），有很多英文作品都要先中文化才會有更多人願意買來看….

這怪可惜的嘛！英文書明明就很棒der，我的童年可是在書堆中渡過的啊！

到底是孩子們本來就討厭，害怕英文，還是家長對英文書無從入手？我又可以做些什麼？

當然是安利英文書！（一秒
想孩子快樂學英文，看書就對了！
（當然啦，重點還是小孩子能夠挑選自己有興趣想看的書而不是被迫要看的書，否則會事倍功半，反而令孩子害怕閱讀喔）

所以這頁面的目的就是介紹好的英文書，主要是小學生程度的吧？
（雖然青少年程度也有機會介紹就是了）
希望能夠讓更多人認識這些作品吧！
另外也會有其他英文有關的小知識之類YO！

總之希望我們能夠讓學英文由pressure（壓力）變成pleasure（樂趣）！

So what’s the deal with this whole thing?

Even though places like Taiwan has more English tutor schools than you can shake a fist at, there’s a surprising lack of places to buy English books. Sure there are foreign works in bookstores, but they have to be in Chinese to get people to buy them in the first place.

In short…an English environment barely exists here.

Which sucks because I basically grew up around English books, and I would never be the same without them.

So why are English books so unpopular? Are kids scared of English, or parents simply don’t know which books to get them?
Or more importantly, what can I do to help?

Promote English books of course!
Want your kids to learn English while having fun at the same time?
Books are your best friend!
(naturally, make sure that your kids get to read books that they are actually interested in instead of being forced to read, or else the point will be lost)

Stay tuned for book reviews for English books, ranging from books for primary schoolers all the way up to young adult books!
Oh, and little tibits about English too, idioms, slang, you name it!
